Jewels of Sanatan Civilization

Satsang | The sacred gatherings

These Mystic musical gathering known as Satsang is something of immense importance in Sanatan civilization. Sat comes from Sanskrit word Satya, the ultimate reality or truth and Sangh means Gathering. Around remote Toba, the rainwater harvesting Watersheds of Rohi, Cholistan region of Thar desert, or simply Oasis, we can still have vivid glimpse of that Great human civilization once dominated Entire Indus valley.

It might look Odd to most of the Modern Post-colonial Indians that the Indigenous Meghwar Hindus of Thar sing the Sufi Kalams (poetry) written by the Sufi sants like Sultan Bahu, Shah Latif Bhittai, Bulleh Shah and Khawja Fareed along with the Doha(couplets) of Kabir, because they believe from the core of their understanding that no humans actually born with preset religious brand identity and all these Sufis of Indus basin were actually Maharishis of medieval times, not the distant past.

And we believe they are Perfectly RIGHT.

Please spare some time to listen to the sacred voices.

Bhagats from Meghwar Hindu community, They are the indigenous nomadic desert dwellers and herders of Mighty Thar desert
